So, you are now officially viewing a Golden website. In Form Design earned 4 LGDA Gold Awards (the shows highest honor) at this LGDA 100 Show. The projects that won are informdesign.us (your there/here now), the First Office website: firstoffice.com, the First Office Binder Box and the Embrace Family Brochure. Super Awesome!

Wow... we haven't updated in forever. Getting ready to enter the site in a design competition and figured we better do some updates (lol). Way too busy, ya know. Anywho, we have a new designer, Jennifer McDaniel. She is from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She likes Brown and Lemonade. She's good people. Word.
05/08/07
Susan Morganti (a former Informer and current instructor at Ivy Tech) asked Angelo and Christian to do their best Paula and Simon impressions at the Ivy Tech portfolio review. We had an awesome and inspiring time. Susan is spreading her use of unique materials to the next generation. Start with some cork, add a tea bag and wrap it in some fishing net and you have the essence of "Susanesque" design.
05/08/07
Thanks for all the interest in the design position. We are still in the collection phase. Keep the applications coming!
05/08/07
Wow... we are getting a ton of spam in our guest book. Sorry...

A brief wrap up of the last 3 months:
We are currently working on the OFS, First Office and Carolina showrooms for NeoCon. / We are knee deep in creating the identity for OFS Brands, the parent company for OFS, First Office, Carolina and Styline Logistics. / Working on the Styline Logistics identity also. / We sprang forward. / Our largest client purchased our second largest client. / Jenny has been in Dallas and Los Angeles to project manage the OFS Brands L.A. Showroom. / In Form Design remodeled. New paint, carpet, rugs, a refrigerator, a digital camera, lounge area, 2 printers, a laptop, phones and last but not least: Aerons for all! / Colt's won the Super Bowl. / Amy got new flooring in her house. / Romance got kicked off of I Love New York / "See you later decorator" was the new catch phrase. / Jami got highlights. / Angelo lost his man purse which held his digital camera. / Amy got a great deal on turtle necks. / It was really cold. / Christian's son poured a full can of Minwax over his head. / Jami's sister-in-law out bid Angelo for the house next door. (but we control her porch light.) / After all the custom handcrafted furniture is finished, Angelo will be moving into his new apartment above Keith Fritz. / We had a Christmas party, but lost the pictures.

12/08/06

11/27/06
Jami's last name is Brames!
11/22/06
It is Jami's and Jarod's big day this weekend. Congrats!

11/06/06
Some cool, random, design stuff. Enjoy.

11/01/06
Happy Birfday Jami (10/31) and Amy (11/1).

10/25/06

Check out the new First Office. This is been one element of a huge rebranding we recently completed.

Big milestone... we have just posted our 100th Picture of the Week.

Angelo has returned from six weeks in the land of sweet tea. First assignment: cat-sit for Sade.

09/01/06
OMG! Sade AND Jami busted ass on the steps to the second floor. Jami bit it first running up in loose flip-flops that snagged on the overhang of the step. She went down HARD but recovered quickly. Sade, on the other hand totally crashed going down the steps when her high heels gave way. On the way down she spilled coffee and destroyed Christian's mailbox. Her legs were severly battered and brusied. It was XTREME!!!
09/01/06
OMG 2!! Digging thought some old boxes in the spray room we found a copy of NFormanix "Cooking From The Midwestside". Nothing but good memories of the early 80's when Angelo and Chrisitan were at their creative peak.

09/01/06
OMG 3!!! SO CUTE!!!
08/24/06
Per Sade, via email:
Just giving everyone a heads-up (if I haven't already harassed you) that we now have a recycling bin! Yay! I'll be watching you all very carefully, and for every piece of paper you throw away, I will kill a kitten.
Just kidding, I would only drown puppies.
Angelo's response:
OMG the only thing we know how to recycle is Gotham!
So true.
08/21/06
Bizzay!
08/11/06
Angelo is photo directing in North Carolina for a couple of months and beginning to lose it a bit. His latest email::
BTW the CB2 vases came in they look great. I didn't have a box cutter so i used a shard of glass from a smashed vase to open it. See not a total loss! thank matt for me:) in case of burglary, i now have a leathal weapon i can take with me to my hotel. I'b like holdin my sharp piece of blue glass and be like, "bitch, you robbin da the wrong room, i got some broken prop in he-yah! and you do not want to get cut up with my piece of blue glass! you betta get out cause i'm gonna blue glass yo ass!!!" And thatz all i gotta say.
Yikes.

It's Strassenfest season!

After yet another exhausting search for a new designer, In Form Design is proud to announce the addition of Sade Reed to the team. Sade is from Des Moines, IA. She is a 2006 graduate of Drake University. She has recently managed Verboten Gallery of Art + Design in downtown Des Moines. Her interested include architecture, Star Trek, fancy clothes and mountain biking. She uses phrases like "smashingly brilliant", "rad" and "fairly rock". Also, she is not a big puss like Aaron. She had no problem stealing several items from the Schnitzelbank salad bar. (see 04/10/05)
Here are some portfolio samples:

Here are some pictures of the Embrace section of the Carolina showroom from NeoCon 2006.

In Form loves Sade.

Our new intern, Ryan... er, I mean Matt, just completed some landscape "design" for us. He has spent the last couple weeks removing the extremely overgrown bushes from in front of the office. Be sure to add that to your portofolio Ryan... er, I mean Matt.

06/27/06
Big news: Jasper is getting a Starbucks.
06/21/06
Here are some pictures of the OFS showroom from NeoCon 2006. Be sure to watch the video to catch a glimpse of Christian and Angelo walking around aimlessly.
06/14/06
Wow, what an exciting, exhilarating and exhausting NeoCon! This was definitely In Form’s best NeoCon yet. I think it is safe to say it was our clients best also. We designed two large showrooms this year, one for OFS and one for Carolina and Embrace. Both turned out awesome! We heard nothing but positive feedback the entire show. We will update our portfolio section soon!

06/02/06
Eric G for President.
05/26/06
Our new intern, Ryan... er, I mean Matt, created our wonderful Memorial Day POTW.
05/23/06
NeoCon is keeping us as busy as beavers!
05/16/06
Check the updates at Angelo's t-shirt site: Evolution Stops Here.
05/12/06
Are you a member of The 7000 Club?
05/10/06
Angleo's email to the staff:
Ok,
It's time to start eatin right for NeoCon. Amy you inspired this email with the healthy food you brought in today. For [sic] now on everyone is required to eat two servings of fruits and/or veggies + 4 glasses of water a day at work.
Let's get cute,
Angelo
05/09/06
Aaron is leaving us. After his three month review, we all determined that his sleepiness and drunkiness was better suited for freelance. No hard feelings either way. We'll all miss the phrase "I'll have a Mr. Pibb."
05/5/06
Happy Cinco de Mayo!
04/24/06
Aaron killed a guy. Yum.
04/13/06
We hope everybunny has a hoppy Easter!
04/10/06
You should have seen how shook Aaron got stealing cottage cheese for Angelo from the Schnitzelbank salad bar.
04/05/06
SHOCKING NEWS! The In Form Design staff found out this week that the font they have been referring to as "Helvetica Nouveau" for years is actually called "Helvetica Neue" (pronounced like "annoying" but with an "a" at the end rather than an "ing" (and without the "a" at the begining also (just "noya")). Despite the obvious spelling difference, we all just assumed it was pronounced "Nouvea" (like the art movement, the Club and the Bell Biv). This has been very difficult for everyone to accept.
03/27/06
Amy has been picked to attend the John Mellencamp Dress Rehearsal in Evansville. There will be a Meet and Greet. Nip Pic! Nip Pic! Nip Pic! (see 8/16/05)
03/27/06
We recently received some interesting poetry in our guest book...

03/24/06
Somebody needs to teach Aaron how to smile in his pictures. A big toothy grin goes a long way.
03/24/06
The Chairs of the Future. Check out Hot Seat 2.
03/17/06
Happy Saint Patrick's Day.
03/09/06
Angelo is back. Due to booming business, he plans to stay and help out until September. He will be working at the receptionist station, so be prepared for an overly warm greeting if you happen to visit.
03/09/06
For Real.
03/03/06
Strictly business in Chi-town. Jenny and Christian howled at the moon with our festive clients Stan and Ryan from Carolina. Jenny entertained everyone with her Axl Roseish dance. Theme music for the evening was "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire.

02/24/06
Aaron's son Jackson joined the In Form crew one day this week. He stayed busy writing a grocery list.
02/17/06
OMG! We have updated the Logos, Advertising and Showrooms sections of the site.
02/06/06
Busy weekend/Monday for the In Formers...
Christian went to Disney Land (or maybe Disney World… whichever one is in Florida).
Jenny, Angelo and Jami went to Louisville for an art gallery "hop", spilled several drinks and crashed a party at the Humana building.
Jami is a saint.
Amy had a murder mystery party with a flapper theme. Her ass, once again, was guilty.
Angelo slaved printing t-shirts which he surprised everyone with this morning.
Our new guy, Aaron, started today. It took him about 45 minutes to figure out how to eject a CD on his computer. How embarrassing.
02/06/06
In Form would like to apologize to everyone who was looking for last weeks "Picture of the Week". It was the first time since we launched the site that we didn't do an update. Sorry.
01/25/06
Angelo and Cody Cannon (the Jami Fan Club Founder) have created a t-shirt site. Check out the work in progress. Intelligent Designer.
01/16/06
Keep on Truckin'. Our temporary site for Styline Transportation.
01/16/06
Congratulations to Jared and Jami. They are engaged.
12/29/05
Here are some images from the In Form Design Christmas Party. The event was held at Mac-a-doo's in Jasper. Good times, great gifts ($30 price limit this year!) and plenty of deeply fried foods were had by all.

12/27/05
Happy Holidays!
12/20/05
After 5 months, 396 applicants and $879.00 in job posting fees, the search for Angelo's replacement is complete!
The latest addition to In Form is Aaron Tanner of Evansville, IN. We have worked with Aaron in the past when he was with Semisans. At Semisans he programmed our website (which you are at now) and the Embrace Funishings website. He has a record label (Melodic Virtue), a band (Stationary Odyssey), a kid (Jackson) and an accent reminiscent of Snagglepuss ("exit stage left, eevvveen").
A couple of weeks ago he expressed interest in the position and was immediately deemed our top candidate. After minimal negotiating, he was hired.
Why the hell he didn't express interest 5 months and $879.00 ago will be the subject of our first conversation around the coffee maker.
12/20/05
It may take a minute to load, but well worth it: A little old school NeffDePree (Jenny, Amy and crew circa 1999). I am embarrassed for them.
